Office Dating : Finding romance at the office can be both good and bad

Office dating is evenhandedly common these days as the office is where we expend so much of our time. Handled well it can lead to a relationship. Handled badly it can lead to a case for molestation.

It is not storming that chat up fountains up at the office. We spend a third or more of our lives in the office or other places of work. It is a non-threatening environment where we have an opportunity to meet potential dating partners and learn more about them than just what they look like. Yet romantic engagement between employees is besotted with risks for both the employees and for their employer.

Finding romance at the office can be both good and bad. Here are some pros and cons of office dating:

Do you lead a high pressure work life and spend most of your time at the office? If yes, do not be worried; you are not alone. There are many young working professionals who are probably on their way to building a successful professional life. Although work will sort out your financial and professional security, what happens to your emotional life? For those who spend their maximum time at the office, it would seem natural that they find a romantic interest at work. But such a romance has its advantages and disadvantages. Just take a look on pros and cons and also a few tips on how to conduct yourself:

The Advantages : Time on your side

The first advantage is that it saves you a lot of time. Instead of waiting for the weekend or all day for the evening to meet someone, you get to see them everyday, thus saving you time and money.

Familiarity:

Since you spend so much time together, you won't take very long to get to know him/her well. Because there is so much interaction, you can get close to the person faster than you would if you were dating someone outside the office.

Economical:

Since you are working at the same place, if you ever move in together, you can save a lot of money on traveling and other expenses.
